Purpose: Praise of the Lord; silent prayer: intercessory prayer: thanksgiving: to join together in praise and worship of the Lord with others who share the same faith; a coming together to share the love the Lord has for us, with each other: deepening of prayer life and experiencing spiritual growth; a fostering of respect for one another and trust in one another as we come humbly before the Lord to give praise and prayer with sincere hearts.
By praising and worshipping the Lord, we can open the door to the many blessings He wants to give us. It makes us more aware of being in His Presence and helps us to focus more clearly when praying, thus making our prayers more effective.”
